My girlfriend and I have been apart almost all of our 9 month relationship. I have gotten to see her on average about once every 3 weeks. Now I have to opportunity to move to the same city as her (midwest to east coast) and am wondering if anyone has any suggestions on making this a smooth transiton?! I am not planning on moving in with her for at least the first 6 months or so. Being together but having separate lives is different that being together and trying to share everything. Anything yo guys can think of would help such as suggestions, articles, or websites about the topic!! Thanks...

Wow, that's great that you get to move closer to your sweetie... let her know that you want to take things slowly still, you don't want to be together every second because then you may smother each other and get tired of each other too quickly, thus ending in a breakup... I suggest setting a date night once each week and a few other nights through out the week to get together.
