Please tell me this:

Which is more true in relation to "no contact" with an ex that you love and want back :

"Absence makes the heart grow fonder" (They will realize what they had and don't have now)

or

"Out of sight, out of mind" (They will forget what they had)

I am leaning toward the "Absence makes the heart grow fonder" especially if its been a few months of no contact.

i hope in my exes case is the his heart grows fonder and i hope that in my case, it helps me forget...

i dunno..sometimes i think that the person who got hurt is the one who eventually forgets..i hope so!!!
and the one that did the hurting maybe realzies what they lost...ugh

I think that no contact is just a cowardly way of dumping someone...if you like someone, you want to be with them...if you love them, you have to be with them.

It depends on what kind of relationship you had. If you cared about each other, then "absence make the heart grow...etc" applies, but if it was just a fling, then it's easy to forget.
