That's the same reason why I don't want girls to date me. Let him go, don't keep him a certain way because he's the nice dependable trustworthy guy. Go with the type you really want and talk to him to see if he'll understand and maybe you'll still be able to keep him as a friend...a true friend.
Girls get confused by my genuine and honest nature, it's too comfortable but not what they truly want...I really hammer that into their heads too

- nice guy <--- let the bunny roam free, you'll always be able to count on his fluffiness
- player <--- go for the type most women crave but don't go back to the bunny when you get hurt...go to the bunny as a friendly ear but not to take you back as a mate.
