Hey I have a friend who has been getting attacked a lot lately. Just today her ex-Boyfriend broke in and had an "argument" with her. I don't know what kind of "argument" it was but I am really worried about her. I can't call the cops cuz I don't know where she lives nor do I know her last name. All I know is that she is a volunteer fire fighter. Do I call the cops?

First of all, I hope your friend has enough brains to handle herself. Second, how do you know all this information if you don't know where she lives? If you have her phone number, yes, call the police as soon as possible. They can get the rest of the information from her phone number. But if you have no idea what her full name is or where she lives, just forget it. If you call them, they will want a lot more details than what you have.

It's always good to know your friends' full names and approximately where they reside.
