What to do?

Ok so my friend is dating this real loser. I dont like him one bit he is very controling of her and reminds me of one of the guys that i used to date. I told her to be careful becuase hes doing everything my ex used to do. Everytime I tell her to be careful she goes "your just jealous cause you dont have anyone." but im not im happy. ive just been in her situation before. she doesn't believe me, even my mom has told her about my ex and how the guy shes dating reminds her or him to. should i just stand back and watch her get hurt ??? i guess thats all i can do uh?

bleh that's a tough one.

in the end tho, as much as you'll feel bad if and when she gets hurt, it'll be a lesson for her to remember, and will most likely learn to take your concern more seriously.

good luck!

Unfortunately, the only thing that you can do is maybe warn her once more, and then stand back and watch her get hurt. My friends have often been right about some bad people in my life, but I had to learn it on my own. Your friend is going to have to learn these things on her own as well, as feelings can definitely blind a person in these situations.

My friend is in a situation like that sort of. She even just recently had a baby to the guy. There will be no way she will leave him now. I am always nice to her boyfriend but heard that he doesn't even like me that much anymore or never has for some reason. That doesn't worry me one single bit but. I do have other friends.

You can try warning her but if that doesn't work (it will be in the back of her mind but) all you can do is just stay out of the whole situation all together. That is all I can say. That is what I am doing with this girl. I have been in that type of situation and your situation now as well.

The funny thing was that it was this same girl that warned me about my Ex when I WAS going out with him!

She will learn something through this everybody does in this situation. Just be there for her if the relationship does brakes down.

You do have to learn these sort of things on your own but. If you don't listen that is.

i'll have to agree with the rest of them, warn and then stand back and watch. You are her friend so she expects you to be there for her, share her joys and share her pains, you have already done well in giving your honest opinions.

If you keep reminding her of your views, she will not see your good intentions now, coz she's blinded by "lurve" and the whole situation could turn ugly when she points a finger at you and says you are trying to break them up. Why wanna go through that.
