Question for the guys!!!(or girls)

Quick question....

Why do guys life girls up in the air???

Just wondering 'cause I have been picked up numerous times by guys at parties, clubs, and even when I'm just hanging out. I did ask one guy once and he said I gave off a "look". Can any guys explain this?? (Oh and I don't think it's because of the guys like to pick up short girls 'cause I'm 5'8)

maybe your "look" gives off the impression that you're fun, submissive, and vulnerable?

i think those would be some reasons why i'd do that to a girl

I always figured it was an expression of strength and playfulness. I LOVE IT!! I'm petite and there's nothing I love more than being swept off my feet, physically (and emotionally). I have a few guy friends that scoop me up when I give a friendly hug, flip me upside down to carry me somewhere if I'm playing around, etc. It makes me feel like a kid again. And the fact that they are strong enough to do so is a real turn on, even if the guy is "taken" or I am "taken". Its just all in good fun.
Do you dislike the attention? Just tell them "no" and back off seriously. If you back off laughing or smiling its just an invitation, HA!

Picking someone up is a sign of domination. you literally take away thier power by lifting them off their feet. I don't think these guys are concious of this when they "pick you up" but they are trying to assert their control over you (basically they are trying to seduce you).

Anyway, it does give new meaning to the phrase "to pick up" a babe

If it bothers you maybe try jumping on their back and not letting go once or twice and assert your control of being "picked up"

it's not that i have a problem at all. it just happens a lot to me and not really my friends so i was curious.

and yeah it is fun to be literally swept off your feet!!!!

If you enjoy it, then whatever you do, do NOT ask the guys why they do it! They'll probably just say somthing like "duh, I dunno" and never do it again

I've only ever asked 1 guy why and I definately won't ever be seeing him again ever, but it's not so much my friends that do it...just guys when I first meet them so I found that weird that a perfect stranger would want to do this.

Just a funny update...

lifted up on Thursday and Friday....it's becoming like a tradition among random guys I have never met!!!
