this is my second post asking for help. As i said in my last post my girlfriend of six months ended our relationship over the phone around two weeks a go and I havent been to see her yet.

Im going next wednesday and she wants us to act just as friends as it will be harder saying goodbye. Its not like we live close togther as we are 2 hours apart so this is a big thing. Im not really happy going up there just being friends and would like to be able to hold her hand and cuddle. just that would make me happy.

will this make things worse saying goodbye? I know it will make me happier at the time though. She wants us to be close friends but im not sure right now as my feelings are still as strong as when we were going out so im planning to break contact for a month to get over her. I know this will be hard but if i dont lose contact it'll get worse and worse.

what should i do?

My ex came around a few times after we broke up. He cuddled and hugged me but did not want to reconcile. He was even crying.

It made it much worse for me. I find that the more I am not around him the faster I get better. I have ignored two phone calls from him since. I just cant be friends that is impossible. He hurt me way too much.

I suspect that this will happen to you as well. It may be hard damn hard to avoid but I would try not to go.
