it seems that the only time i get his support is when some kind of a crises comes along like my dog dying, my brother dying etc.
i need it more then that but don't seem to get it.
he would rather throw money at me to go fix what ever the problem may be then to talk to me about it. what can i do?
I certainly wouldn't marry him if I was unhappy with his level of communication. Some guys really DON'T relate very well. Emotional issues make them feel uncomfortable.
Either you love him enough to overlook it or you decide it's not something you can live with.
Change him?? NAAAAA......not a chance. I doubt 'joint counselling' would be his thing.
