I've been good friends with this guy for over 2 years now. How do u deal with a friend whos become a total control freak? If he does something that upsets me, I cant share my feelings anymore b/c it always turns into a fight with us where he pretty much calls the shots and doesnt let me get a word in edge wise. He always turns it around and tells me why I have no right to feel the way I do and why I'm making him explain himself. Lately its like I have to put up with whatever he says or he said if I start another fight it will be the final straw for him and we push me out of his life. He's been the best friend I've ever had but also at times prob been the friend who's hurt me the most.
Any thoughts on how to deal with him??

Maybe try care fronting him.

Tell him outright, that you consider him your best friend and miss the closness you once shared.

Explain to him, your feelings and how he is hurting you and your relationship.

Don't place to blame on him- try just to be caring in your efforts!
