She asked for personal interpretation and definition, not a debate.
When they know, I don't feel it's a crush anymore. They can feel the same way, but once they know you know that they know that you know (etc.,)--It takes a step further.

Sooooooooo is a crush... liking someone... only when it is a secret to the other person? If you find out they like you...then what is it?
Would you say it's "like" or something stronger?
Now no fighting
I am not fighting, Dyer is picking on me, bully, lol, jk, dyer.
i think that person can know, but usually they don't. As for is it like, depends on your definition of like, i think like is when is any attarction, so a crush is more then like, it is when i decide that a girl is worth the time, effort and possibility of rejection for me to take the risk and to flirt with her.
For example, i have a crush on the girl that i gave a valentine's to, i like at least a few dozen girls.
PS. That girl does not post on this site, the girl on this site that got a valentine's from me is not that person.

In answer to your question...do I like having crushes? I would have to say yes. It gives me something pleasant to think about and puts a smile on my face.
However, if it turned into unrequited love/lust then i think I would hate it. Lightbulb moment! I finally get it! Light vs Dark.

A crush is when you really want someone, and can't stop thinking about them. You get nervous talking to them, or when they're around you. You just want to screw them SOOOOOO badly, you'd give anything to do it. lol. Maybe not for everyone, but my Zodiac symbol is Scorpio (symbol of sex), so I can't help it!
I think the definition of crush depends on your age group. In school it's called puppy love. ie: John told me that Steve likes me so I'm going to get Sally to ask Steve if he really does likes me. In your 20's It's more of a lust thing, oh man she/he's HOT. Make your move and maybe they'll take the bait. When your in a relationship it's more of a flirt thing knowing that, that's all it's ever going to be. Make eyes at each other smile make simple conversation and then move on.
um, well, I usually go with the mainstream definition, but right now I consider a crush to be more than just thinking a girl is attractive - but when you develop feelings for her. Some may try to hide these feelings so she will not know, some may express them and she does know, but neither of you have the courage to take it to the next level - even if it is mutual. For me, I can find many girls attractive - good looking or having a good personality, I crush on a few of them - seeing that I would enjoy having a relationship or even just a date with them. I usually develop a stronger crush on one of them and sorta concentrate on that girl, and she's the one I really want to date. If I ever were to get a date then, it wouldn't be a crush in my mind - unless things dont work out and you get back to where you started. My relationships have never passed beyond crush stage yet - but I'm looking to change that very soon if things work out.
