Question Mixed Signals HELP!!!!!!!!

My girlfriend asked for a break about two weeks ago. I love her more than anything in the world and gave her here week break she asked for. But after the week she said that she feels that she needs me to love her for her to go on everyday and she hates that. She said that she wants to get to the point to were she does not need someone but just wants someone. The reason we broke was she was spending more time with her friends then me. And im not talking about a few hours but I would only see her about 2-3 hours a week. I was ok with that but I was going to propose to her and she was going to go to the zoo with her friends. I asked her to stay back with me it was important and she blew up. I love her so much and want her back so bad. I have sent her poems, flowers, and apologized for getting mad that we didnt spend more time together. She still wants her TIME to get through the whole needing and wanting thing. But i feel she can do that while with me. Can you give me some advie on what to do. She sends me mixed signals. some say we will get together after her time and some say that if she finds another she will go with him. I wanna give her her time but I dont know how to cope with it. it is eating me alive. HELP PLEASE

First of all, STOP SENDING HER THAT CRAP! Chances are, you are probably gonna freak her out and push her away!

Let her have all the time she needs (in other words, indefinately and move on), but don't friggin wait for her. You go out and find yourself a lovely, little mate that doesn't send mixed signals like, 'i don't want someone, but i need someone' --- What the hell is that, anyway?

rule of thumb

If a "signal" can be read two ways, and things aren't going so great--It should be read in the unfavorable way. Save yourself some heartache.

Talking Thanks for the advice

I wanna thank you all for your advice. I did stop sending her things and I called her just once or twice. And now we are back together!!! She said that the things she wanted to think about are that she wanted to grow up alittle before she got back in a serious relationship. I love her so much and wanna thank you guys for taking the time to reply to my forum. Have a great day.
