Breast Cancer at 19??

Does anyone know what the chances are that a 19 year old gets breast cancer. I was recently being sexual with myself(and my SO) and i felt somwthing hard and small in the bottom portion of my left breast. I am really skinny (96) lbs so at first i just thought it was my bone or something....but i done feel the same lump on my other breast. I also thought maybe it could be a muscle but i doubt that.

I know that you can have benign lumps so mayeb thats what it is..i just dont want to find out 10 years down the road that i have stage five cancer.

i havent told anyone yet b/c i dont want to make mountains out of molehills esp if its just my imagination.

Any input would be really appreciated.

Thanks

You should get it checked out. Breast cancer can strike women at any age - even men can get it! There is absolutely no way that anybody on LS can diagnose it, but if it felt hard, go see a doc. Don't hesitate. If it's nothing, it's fine, but if it is breast cancer, you'd want it out right away.

It's very unlikely that at 19 you will have breast cancer, but as moi said it is NOT impossible. I've read of a 15 year old having it. And also men.

Get it checked out. It will probably be nothing, but just check it just in case. Plus your mind will be at ease and you will not be stressing out ten years down the line, finding out something terrible.

I have what is called fibristic breast disease(not sure I spelled that correctly) and they tend to feel like a bean bag in places. I am also small. about 103 lbs. I have found that when I drink a lot of caffeine that really gets them sore and they will swell.
