Huh?

I was told to act grateful and thank the giver nicely. Sometimes it's an effort, of course. And it's worth the time to let your husband know your preferences, or even attempt to sweet talk him into going with you to exchange it due to "poor fit" or some such. But you must make sure to lavish praise and thanks on both the gift and the giver.

Just a thought....what did you say to your co worker when she showed you her ring? Hate is a strong word....If I were your hubby I would take the ring back and buy myself some golf clubs

I agree with Soulmate....I don't know who taught you your manners while you were growing up, but I think they got it reversed. I'm sure your husband will think twice now before he ever buys you something again. You're (removed by moderator) to have told him you hate the ring.

THUS the reason why men hate to purchase gifts for women......

Chances are if you had went to the store and exchanged it for another one.....before ever mentioning it....he'd probably never have known the difference.

Telling a man you don't like what he picked out....NAAAAH....NEVER!!!!
