Unhappy overcoming shyness

Ok, here's the deal. I just broke up with my girlfriend because she didnt want a serious boyfriend and i wanted a serious girlfriend. I have been talking to this girl now who i am really starting to like that actually wants a serious relationship. I have heard that she likes me too, but I have no clue why she would. First off, I am shy and she is really talkative and second off, when I look at the guys she's dated, it almost intimidates me to date her. When I get around her I almost choke up in a way because I just dont know what to talk about. Can anyone help me overcome this problem with shyness, because I really like this girl and i need some help.
thanks

From what i get she likes you, don't be intimidated by her past.
The single worst thing any could do its wait while time passes them by.
so I strongly suggest you talk to her and ask her out.
