Meal Sizes...

Do you think there is any value in the old mantra, "Eat breakfast like a king, lunch like a queen, and dinner like a pauper"?

I would especially like to hear Ryan's view on this.

Breakfast is important. But more important than the size of your meals is what is contained in them. Eat a good breakfast, eat reasonably at lunch and dinner and be sure your activity level is such that you burn the calories (with a combination of exercise and your normal body requirements) so you maintain your desired weight. If you want to lose weight, eat less and exercise more.

If you can' good, balanced meals, be sure to take a vitamin and mineral supplement. And, yes, I think it's best to make your evening meal the smallest since energy requirements in the evening are the least for most people.
