I'm not psychic! Help me read this woman...

Not too long ago I began chatting with someone I met in one of my classes. Naturally she's everything I could ever ask for(and more) but she has a boyfriend of a few years. Well, since I have morals I decided to not even bother with her because she has a boyfriend...plus she's the faithful type. But one day my best friend convinced me to pursue her even though she has a boyfriend. He said "Most of the time girls who are unhappy in their current relationship stay in it until they can find someone else". So one day I asked her for her number, and got it.

Now here's where I'm pretty confused. All this week she has talked me into coming to class(i'm somewhat of a slacker). Towards the end of the week I was not only convinced to come to class, but to sit next to her as well. Finally yesterday I went and visited her at her work and waited for her to get off. Afterwards she introduced me to her grandparents and we had a few laughs, then both went home.

I'm just not sure what to think about all of this. I mean, she has a boyfriend but she's obviously shown some interest in me. Its pretty easy to tell since she cutely stutters when shes nervous
Are these signs that she is looking for a replacement boyfriend or should i back down? Remember she's not the "slutty" type of girl...she's generally a good and faithful type of woman. But she flirts with me a lot so it makes me wonder...

Whether or not she's looking for a replacement for her boyfriend is strictly her business, not yours. Your business is to know she has a boyfriend, period.

If you can't enjoy this lady's company even though she has a boyfriend, just leave her alone. Have you ever thought about how you'd feel if you really set out to break up her relationship so she would go for you and then you realized you weren't really interested in her?

Let the friendship blossom and one day she will share more details about her boyfriend and how they are getting along. But that won't do you much good because even if she says everything's going fine, that really doesn't mean anything. Over time, you will have to listen to her little remarks here and there to really get the picture. You also have some good time here to get to know her better and know for sure if she's somebody you want to pursue...beyond the physical attraction.

I don't think she would have given you her number and be talking to you so much if things were going well with this other guy...or if she considered herself having a serious committment to this guy she is seeing. But if you're not willing to hang in there and wait and see, then you will never know.

I wouldn't recommend just coming out and asking about how things are going between her and her boyfriend because that's none of your business (at this point) and you may tip your hat as to your intentions and taint the friendship that is now developing.

Trust me. If she's interested in you, it won't be long before she discloses exactly what the deal is. But you have to respect this lady for not just coughing up all the details of her love life so soon after knowing you.

Take your time and stop trying to interupt her every word and action.

gotcha

On a good note when I showed up for class she got excited and said "you came!" and hugged me

She also refused to let me leave after class was over, which is another good sign. If it wasn't for my damn morals i'd make a move but i wouldn't like it if someone stole my girl, so i wont do it to someone else. But she keeps telling me how sweet i am and how her boyfriend is an @$$hole, so i think my chances are high, heh.

its simple

Hey! im a girl and i know how we act. First of all i am faithful to my guy. but i still hang out with tons of guys friends and flirt with them. there is this guy i work with and we flirt everday. i like him but i love my bf. The guy at work makes me smile and gives me hugs all the time. i love having him around, a girl just likes to know she is still attractive from differnt guys. i would never dump my bf for antohter guy. I like to know that if i get dumped i have someone i know that is close to me to be there. Girls are complicated, we want different things all the time, but ask her. thats all i can say
