Is Facebook the most retarded thing ever when it comes to relationships??
I use it to keep in contact with friends and organise events etc My private life is always that, PRIVATE!
If i start seeing someone or am interested in someone I do everything I can possible to avoid looking at their facebook page as you never know what some douche is going to write.
Made a mistake of looking on a girls facebook page I like because there was a comment that I just could not ignore.. This girl has alwaysmore than hinted she wants to start dating again when the timing is right.. She only moved out of her ex's 3 weeks ago. I have always been cordially distant and from what i can sense she has always tried to guage if i'm still interested.
anyway....
Facebook
Her: Amazing evening "8pm"
Douche: and she not even awake next to me ;-))) thats why ;-))) "11pm"
D: ups, im sorry, i was thinking that u wrote "amazing morning" "11pm"
I know they are friends, but common who pisses on someone elses facebook page like this?? English is not his first language, but ugh.....
She phoned me that evening. Flirted with me via text earlier in the week.
Can anyone put a positive spin on this to stop my over active mind racing??
Ladies, would you be pissed off if someone wrote this on your facebook page? Or what has someone written on your facebook page that has made you cringe?
I'm about to cut all contact with her. At the very least i'm letting her initiate all contact with me.
p.s before someone says "sounds like you have doormatted yourself" I would strongly disagree with this remark.

My boyfriend made the huge mistake of giving me his password. I went a good three weeks without looking.
Then I decided to go for it. Just wanted to take a "glance" at the inbox and the sent message folder. Unfortunately, the time I chose to do this was while his ROOMMATE was online, saw him on the chat log, which was odd seeing as he was watching tv in the NEXT ROOM.
-_-
Once I saw his roomie on there, I quickly texted my bf and said "I'm on Facebook and I IMEd you, why aren't you iming me back?"
to cover my tracks.
But yeah, I know what you're saying. I especially hate seeing his stupid ex's slutty profile pictures all over his wall, saying "What's up!" "Oh I LOVE your new haircut!"
-_- ERARRHHHGHH! I hate Facebook. It is the freaking devil.
I could be reading more into this than I should be, then again maybe i'm not
If he is being serious, what this dude wrote in public reaks of insecurities, is trying to mark his territory and he is a douche.. Thought that is what PM's are for??
If it is a joke, then he is a douche.
I'm trying to keep a level head as for all I know it could very well mean nothing. Little green monster is rearing it's ugly head lol
Just wrote to her "Looks like you have a facebook admirer /stalker lol"
Seriously no more looking at her facebook profile, starting....... now!
When did it become the accepted thing to do to make everyones private life public??
Although if people are willing to write their private drama's on facebook I will read them...
There's a whole load wrong with the fv*ck-ups that use it.

I've resorted to making my wall on Facebook invisible. Comments about someone's status update are one thing, but I hate it when people start making social arrangements on the wall. I've told the main offenders before, and they stopped doing it for a while, but lately it started up again.
I don't necessarily want everyone on my friends list knowing when I'm at home, when I'm looking after relatives' pets, or when I'm out of the country altogether. Some of them are people I don't know - who are only there because they joined a group I started. Facebook is fine as a basic networking tool, but I really don't think it's the place to be broadcasting too much personal information. I might be overly cautious about it to the point of sounding paranoid.
It isn't just the security thing that gets me, though. There's this exhibitionist aspect to Facebook that makes me cringe. At least one of my friends has, through Facebook, revealed a level of narcissism that confounds me and leaves me respecting her far less. Suddenly I feel less like a friend, more like I've been included in some third rate celebrity's online fan club.

LOL....there's some woman I know that put some hotsy totsy costume photo of herself (vampire style) and I made some innuendo in regards to "sucking" lol...wasn't vulgar,I think it was more of a dble entendre really.
The boyfriend sees this and tries to counter me with my flirty comments.
She emails me to stop doing that in public, because her b/f gets jealous when he sees that...and I said, "okay, ill flirt with ya in private then ;-)
Of course the b/f is on the otherside of the country....so don't know how that can harm him. lol

Facebook does have its uses.. I learned the the girl I intend to make a move on is single.. wouldn't have known that w/o looking But on a similar note.. ladies.. Do you think its creepy if a guy looks you up? Personally I don't see an issue with it.. if you leave your stuff public.. you can't complain. But never let on that you looked.. that may seem creepy imo. It gives you a few ideas for chat topics or whatnot so long as you never let on you looked before any befriending occurs. But ladies.. your thoughts on if a guy checked you out on facebook or myspace or whatever.. creepy or no?

Meh, I'm sure any red blooded guy does it all the time, i've been known to do it, if it's a woman I've already met through friends....looked the up that way.

The real problem is that people have no manners, boundaries, etc.
Yes, I would be pissed if someone wrote that on my page, whether or not it was true. Such a comment would be immediately deleted, and the poster of the offending comment would be blocked from ever posting to my wall ever again.
However...I conduct myself in such a way IRL that only the most socially retarded and oblivious individual would ever think it was appropriate or he could get away with such public comments. Even people I date, flirt with, etc. know better.
Most people my age (mid 20s) and younger are not like me. Sorry dude.
