The state of things for me

I've been pretty quiet, keeping busy and all. Figured I would update for anyone interested

Moved out of the house the end of last month, just as STBex moved his new GF in... it's been an adjustment, particularly since I didn't really have enough time to gather ALL my personal belongings, plus my business products are still packed and shipped from the basement of the house, so it's been figuring out comfortable boundaries. I won't lie, there were flareups of white hot jealous rages, petulant child syndromes, and snarling gossipy remarks - almost all of it only said to my therapist so as to maintain the good feelings and positive relationships in the real world.

My BF had the most wonderful news this week - not only was his divorce made final, but he heard back about the job that seemed to be very on again/off again and they have nailed down mid-December as a start date. He is giving notice to his current job (the one he's had for 18 years!) the end of next week and I will fly down the week before Thanksgiving to drive up with him to our new home together! This news has done wonders to settle the petulant, jealous, snarling inner child

In the meantime he is methodically taking care of all his loose ends (including continuing to have to deal with the absolutely psychotic ex), starting to pack and ship up items he doesn't need right away, and whatnot.

A sense of peace and calm is a wonderful feeling instead of the nervous chaos I've been trying to settle for the past couple of weeks.

That's it wrapped up in a nutshell.
