Hi guys, i've been chatting to a lovely man i met online , we are on each other's facebook and he called me last night. We spoke for about 15 min and before hanging up he said.."i'll give you a buzz later". I thought that meant he was going to call me again after he got back from dinner but i haven't heard from him. English is my second language, can anyone tell me what exactly does I'll give you a buzz later mean? Am i over analysing?

Yep, you're over-analysing, 'I'll give you a buzz later' is no different to 'i'll give you a call later'. Later is later, there's no specific timeline associated with it. So, it would come down to tone/conotation as to whether he meant later today or later later.
