Lets be superficial and talk about men ladies ... So, whats better in your view? Muscles or no muscles? Moustache? or no moustache? Long hair? or short hair? Who do you think is 'hot' right now on screen and in real life?
Personally, I will always have a thing for Keanu Reeves. That man is SO gorgeous! I go for dark hair, not too short not too long. Big brown eyes, with the unshaven look. Must always be tall. Hate moustaches and hard muscles - totally scares me... In real life my Hubby ticks all of these boxes. I suppose we could talk about what good personal qualities you feel a man should have. My Hubby always opens doors for me and walks on the outer side of the pavement whenever he is with me - which is so sweet.
It's my age you know...
I prefer the mature, slightly rugged type.
Donald Sutherland, George Clooney, Paul Newman (yes, I know he's dead, but it's just the type we're talking about....) I like a man who's got some intellect and something to talk about.
My ex- was a Computer tecchie, and extremely good as a general handiman.....but he never changed th way he dressed for over 20 years, and became so set in his ways, I would have died of boredom.
My Partner now is a grumpy, Mr. Angry, 45-year old unpredictably volatile man, but he more than compensates for this by being vibrant, scintillating, intelligent, intellectual, articulate and very, very interesting. he knows he's Mr Grumpy/Angry, he knows he's volatile, he knows he's intolerant. But he also jokes he's only 9 so he needs attention, and if I'm busy doing something, he'll whimper that he's being neglected..... but he's studying Law and in a year will be qualified. Then he'll take his master's degree and practise for a while, after which he'll combine practising with Lecturing.
It's never a dull moment.
I hate, 'dull moments'.... I had 26 years of them, and I'm not standing for that again!

Your post made me laugh so hard! My Hubby is grumpy and attentions seeking also. I think men have some sort of emotional 'cycle' thing going on, not as obvious as the changes which some women experience within their menstrual cycle but theres definately something there... Or maybe not..
I love the playful stuff in a relationship. You know, when you throw gentle insults back and forth (kind of like flirting, but a bit different). Perhaps I like this kind of "jesting" but it really gets my heart racing. We both make fun of each other and exaggerate our little quirks when we do this. It really puts a smile on my face. I don't know if this is me being weird or what...
Oh, the male laugh is SEXY. When I hear him laugh, I fall in love all over again.

Who do you fancy right now and why?
I prefer them tall, dark and handsome and younger.. no moustache although I don't mind a well trimmed goatee... I like longer hair (shoulder length) for a younger guy.. I also like the 'shaved' head but not the 'Bick-shave'... I hate long grey hair... eewwww gross..
I prefer the rugged look but not too much... I hate the 'Mr World' look.. sleazy.. too much muscles is a huge turn-off.. but too skinny is also a turn-off..
I am extremely picky..
I like them sweet and sexy.

I like men that are confident, ambitious and not afraid to just be themselves.
As far as phyical features, I'm a sucker for big blue eyes and broad shoulders. Some think it's strange, but I love a man with a great set of shoulder blades! I'm 5'9 and want my man to be equally tall or taller and he must have some meat on his bones.
I second the 'meat on his bones' comment. I love a man who enjoys his food and is built nicely - I think this produces a better standard of cuddles. One of the favourite features I love from my Husband is that he is so tender emotionally. Noone else (apart from the kids) really knows this side of him. He is unafraid to be vulnerable with what he REALLY feels and this is JUST SOOO attractive. Both of our boys (really they are my Husbands boys but I lay claim on them because of the amount of time we spend together) are the same and they have girls falling over themselves to get near them. There is nothing more attractive than honesty in a man who is practising self control.
I am also very proud to announce that our eldest boy has met one of THE most beautiful young ladies I have EVER seen. She is so stunning, kind, SMART and genuine. She has good, supportive parents and is a real sweetie. I am SO excited for him. Of course, he is being a real gentleman and I really hope and pray that she is 'the one'. They are still rather young to be really serious - but I have one of my 'Mother' feelings about this girl. Gosh, she is SO beautiful and genuine!
ocean-blue - hysterical!!! Read it to my h, he had a laugh too. I'm 43, so I still want a little more than upright and breathing
As to my type, I don't have one. I seem to go back and forth between pale, freckled denizens of the British Isles (especially the Irish and Scottish lads) and the dark and dreamy Mediterranean boys. I like 'em tall, but my two h's were both under 5'11" (first serious boyfriend was 6 ft, however).
I find massive muscles unappealing, but I do like a wide strong back and shoulders. In fact, that is probably my favourite part of the easily visible male anatomy.
And for some reason, redheads really catch my eye. Like the lead singer of Queens of the Stoneage. Yummy.
Oh, and I forgot something crucial. Their voice. Nothing like a deep, dark, resonating, masculine burr, especially if he has an Irish or Scottish accent.
Have fallen in lust based simply on a sexy voice.
Yup, me too. I forgot about the French. Sigh. In fact, this could be a whole new thread - are there any accents that are an immediate turn off? Or does it depend on the voice that is speaking it?
