So, I'm getting my hair done today and while reading the gossip mags at the salon, I see that Lindsay Lohan's dad had an affair and the OW supposedly (DNA test not back yet) gave birth to a daughter 13 years ago.
This OW tells the press before the rest of the family. And, the 13 year old is doing interviews before ever meeting her supposed siblings. Why would someone do this? Why not at least tell Lindsay she has a sister before telling the rest of the world? I guess it's for the 15 minutes of fame.
The 13 year old says that she doesn't want to have anything to do with her dad, she just wants to meet Lindsay. I wonder if her half sister wasn't Lindsay Lohan if she would even care about it. Sounds like the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. Nothing like airing your dirty laundry for all the world to see. No wonder these kids wind up so screwed up.
My question for any OW that can answer it is: Why would an OW do this to kids? I don't really care about what she says about their dad, but there are several kids involved here. Don't you think it would have been better for this OW to think about their best interests first?

If they gave a hoot about other people they wouldn't be OW's in the first place.

I'm not sure what this has to do with my H, but I'll be sure to ask him if he is the father. But that would mean that she isn't related to Lindsay Lohan so I'm not sure that will matter to this particular OW. But of you want me to blame my H for this, I guess I'll do as you ask. I'm sure he will find your accusations hysterical, but whatever.

C'mon HN you are asking this question exclusively to OW as if it takes an OW to come to this kind of conclusion, to sell her story out to some cheap azz tabloid for a quick buck.
I'm sorry but that's not just an OW trait to sell yourself out like that it is a "hard up" sort of person's trait to do something like that, and hard up people are not exclusive to being an OP.
Furthermore before I even go into assuming things, and in her defense, usually what happens in these cases is the OP goes straight to the guy who did it he refuses to take responsibility and pushes the OW over the edge, I mean he DID make a child like it or not it IS his child, so the OP resorts to going public to get the attention he should have paid in the first place.

Had I really thought this through before posting, I wouldn't have posted it. I do think it could be an interesting conversation if we could remove our differences. I don't live it that world and I find it strange what people will do to make a buck.
We talk a lot about the best interest of the kids on this forum and I was curious to get some opinions on how this would be best handled.
Not that it would make any difference in any of our personal lives. Can't we just have a conversation that isn't all about us and our problems?
