Do I have a chance?

I met my ex gf in December 2007 in a nightclub we clicked straight away, she was my first love and I was hers, she was 17 then and me 23. We were together for nearly 5 months, The first 2 months where great she would invite me round her house and vice versa but things seemed to change after the two months I felt as if I was doing all the work in the relationship, taking her out, buying her gifts while I was getting nothing in return, we also started seeing less of eachother(once a week) and I thought that wasn't enough and we should see each other a lot more like we used to, I felt as if it was going one sided.

Anyway I decided I would sit down with her and have a talk about it I explained that I felt the relationship was getting one sided and that I would need a hand sometimes when paying for meals etc but I could tell she wasn't listening and I got the hump she then started to walk out and I said "why are you leaveing lets talk" we then went into my room and she sat down and told me she "doesn't know what she wants anymore" and that we need a break I told her ok have a think and let me know.

Three days later I got a text asking me to meet her, she had decided to break up with me and shocked me by saying I was controlling just for wanting to see more of her then once a week.

That was the last I saw of her, it has now been 2 1/2 months and no contact at all, I have been sticking to n/c. In may it was my birthday and I never got a text or anything. Is there any chance she may reconsider or am I better off without as it was so one sided?.

I still love her with all my heart even though it's broken and miss her so much, the things she told me that she would never leave me and would be together forever and have my babies she would pour her heart out to me only to get this how can they just move on like that? after all I gave her?.

I admit I look at her facebook still even though she blocked me and shouldn't but I cant help it, shes still single.

What can I do guys?.

Dude, she's young.... like, really young. 17? I don't think she's ready for something as serious as you want. You met her in a club too bro. She's just getting her feet wet in terms of meeting guys and dating. She's just too young. A six year age gap is huge when one party is 17 years old.

For starters, stop looking at her facebook. Cause sooner or later you're gonna see something on there that's going to set you back to day one of the breakup. You've gone 2.5 months NC, that's good.. keep it up.

Sooner or later you'll get her out of your system. And start dating women closer to your age, who may be looking for the same things you are.. instead of someone young like your ex, whom is just looking to have fun

I know man but shes mature for her age she's 18 now that's why we clicked, but I see your point an older girl would know what she wants out of a relationship. The 2 1/2 months have been hard but i've been keeping myself busy with my hobbys etc.

And I know the facebook I need to stop your right, one days I will see that staus change and it'll set me back to square one.

Really at her age it is likely that she doesn't know what she wants so it isn't likely you can convince her otherwise.

Stop with the facebook, you already know that. I would suggest you go date someone a few years OLDER for a little while. It might give you a fresh perspective on things. And perhaps someone your age or older might be more able to give you the kind of relationship you want.

At 23, really, you have endless options and many chances ahead to meet a wonderful partner.

I believe that most of it has been mentionned already but you should definately date women about your age. You should also consider the fact that she was just having fun and when you had the serious talk, she knew it was over right there. Soon those 2 1/2 months will become 3 then 4 and time will pass on, you will eventually meet someone a lot better and serious. I wish you the best of luck.
