Please tell me your story. As some may know, I lost my bf because I lied and cheated (emotionally only, no kissing or sex or handholding). Ofcourse, no one sympathizes with me on my thread. And perhaps it's because I don't deserve it. Well this thread is mainly for either those who cheated ONCE and their bf/gf left them because of it, or those who got cheated on ONCE and left their bf/gf cuz of it (excludes those whose bf/gf cheated on them and then left them as well). I guess I just want to know people on here with this experience...so that I don't feel like I'm the only one going through this. Right now, I feel very alone. I'm missing him again today. I don't need sympathy. I just want to get through this I suppose. Yes I made mistakes, and I deserve my consequences, but I'm human and my hurt is just as real. I'd appreciate any stories from people who are coping like me or who somehow were able to move on from this hurt and how you did it. Thanks LS-ers.

Just by being here and recognizing what you've done wrong is a great start. If you're going to have to go through all the pain of a breakup, at least you're learning something from it that you can take to your next relationship.
