I have a Yorkshire (Northern English) accent - imagine something like Ricky Wilson from the Kaiser Chiefs - and don't think it's worked for or against me in the speaking to women/dating area. However, I know a few people from Liverpool and Newcastle, and when they came down to London their accents sent women weak at the knees!

YUM! to any form of British accent!!
