I was dating a great guy! Fabulous, caring, etc. We had both recently ended relationships with people who had cheated on us and we were great until his ex called. He tells me that she has been calling him and he feels confused about his feelings for her and I let him go...saying that he needed to do what he had to do and if he still has feelings for her, he needs to go back to see what that means. Actually, I also said that he hasn't experienced 'enough pain' yet and that she hasn't changed etc. I feel good about that part of it although he kept saying how much he likes me etc. but I must admit, I ran scared! We were great together but I have also just came out of a relationship with a cheater and I really didn't want to help him with all his feelings and stuff.....too risky for me.
Anyway, he plays a gig where I have frequented for a long time and he is uncomfortable with me there. It is on Sunday nights and I always go but last Sunday, I felt really weird. I know he still likes me and needs to put closure to this old relationship but it's hard. I dance with the owner now and then, we dated 15 years ago. I can tell my 'new'guy just about dies every time that I do and I guess maybe that is why I do it. Do I go tomorrow night or pass. is the question? He said he felt weirded out last week when we were chatting and said that he felt guilty for talking to me because he felt that he had to give it 'one more good shot' with her.
Then he huggs me and tells me he really likes me....
Do I go tomorrow night or pass??
