Forget 2nd chance, what about 3rd chance?

Hi,

I was married for 12 years but now separated since the beginning of the year.
We split two years ago for three months but then got back together.

Now we have split again, this time I left because the same old problems were still there. Went back last time overnight, maybe if we had taken our time things would be different now.

Would anyone consider a third go at this? I don't think I want to at the moment but in a few months, if it comes up would it be a complete waste of time?

Only you can answer if it is the right thing to do or not. But it seems to me that you are willing to give your marriage every opportunity. I want to say that when my marriage is finally finished that I went down trying and I never gave up on him and our marriage. Seems to me you are the same way.

My only suggestion is do what you feel is right for you. It is your marriage, is it worth fighting for?

Anything is possible.
I dont want to give you false hope but you never know what will happen in the future. You have to worry about the present for now..

12yrs. is a very long time to be with someone. I think if you are married you should try to go to counceling. I'm sure the problems are fixable. You must love him if you went back the first time. I was in a situation with a exboyfriend, we had several small fights and break ups. The last break up we had was a actual real one. We broke up for 3 months, and I didn't except his calls or texts i was angry at him plus i wanted to really think things out. After 3 months we ended getting back together and we moved in together things have been great we are both commuticating well with one another and learning to understand and respect one another (as far as opinions and choices). I'm very happy but scared at the same time, we are just taking it a day at a time but. Thats a part of life if you feel that it is worth saving. People can give u advice and voice their opinions but in the end its up to you! My family dislikes my boyfriend and they told me i would be dumb if i went back to him. But i did what i felt was best for me and what i wanted to do with my life. The family will get over it! Take a chance, or you may end up regretting it!!
