I am confused. What's the difference among " seeing someone" , " dating", and " going out with someone"? Are they all the same or are there subtle differences?

They can have different meanings but they can also have the same meaning. These are terms that are individually defined by the person using them. They can be used interchangably and mean the same thing. Each can also mean something entirely different.

However, each intimates exclusivity and at the same time suggests seeing, dating or going out with not only a specific person but other persons as well.
