ALRIGHT!! MEN..tell us what your emotional needs are

A spin off of my other thread....Men: Here's your oppurtunity to explain to us women what YOUR needs are. It's not all about our emotional needs all the time. We are very well aware that men are in need to. But alot of us don't get it. We are not by any means trying to say that men DONT have emotional needs. But we have no clue what they are and some men are terrible at communicating their needs outside of sex.

That we are needed, appreciated and respected aka to be loved.

Men dont need so much assurance as women do but they need some. In the form of affection (touch) or compliments(verbal). Often women are so concentrated on receiving they forget to get some back. And when they want to give some, they dont know how - giving lame compliments or touch us like they fear us.

I want to be appreciated for the efficacious, sensitive, funny and loving man that I am. I'll earn her respect but I want more than just respect, I want her to adore and admire me. But I know it's my job to earn that too.

I want her to crave being with me. I'd appreciate it if she had a hard time keeping her hands off me.

I want to see her eyes dilate when I come near.

I want to make her feel naughty and feel her squirm and wriggle in my arms while making her have orgasms. Talking dirty to me sometimes, would be nice. I know that it's my job to make those things happen too, but I'd like her to appreciate it.

I'd like her to stay sexy, dress well, even look good in sweats and running shoes. Wear good fabrics, keep her hair nice, wear my favorite perfumes. Stay manicured and pedicured. Maybe one of those little flowers on her big toe.

Sensuous!
I'd really appreciate if she'd try not to notice (too much) other guys asses. Although if she's sensuous, I guess it's gonna' happen once in awhile.

I want her to be smart and have her own interesting things to tell me about each day.

Learn to follow my lead when we dance.

I'll glady cook (especially if she doesn't cook as well I do). But I'd appreciate it if she'll do her share around the house.

I'd prefer dark hair ... or maybe an exceptional blonde.

I know you asked about my emotional needs.
If my needs seem physical ... well I'm a guy ... some of us are thay way.

So if she can manage all I've asked for, I'll be as happy as can be

What I Need From A Woman:

1. She has to laugh at some of my jokes, at the very least. If she laughs at my Hanson joke, even better, since my friends all hate that bit. (though audiences like it)

2. I like to be made to feel attractive. I know I'm not a "hot guy", but if a woman cares about me, I'd like to feel that she thinks I'm sexy as well as "a nice guy".

3. She needs to understand that my friends are VERY VERY important to me, and that I will never do anything to jeopardize my friendships just to satisfy her.

4. I guess, like all men, I just want to feel appreciated. That's something I NEVER got from my ex.

Really, that's all I ask for...

not THAT needy anymore.

Respect, regard, unconditional love and loyalty -- simple to say, hard to find.

After divorcing the ex, if I was ever to get into another relationship, I wanted it to be with a woman who was my intellectual, educational, professional and spiritual equal. I guess you could call that my "need."
