Grow taller

Is it too late for a teenager (like myself) who is at a certain age (after 15) to grow taller? Can lots of exercise (jogging, running, biking, etc) make you grow taller? Can milk be a contribution?

Unfortunately BlueSoul, the height you will grow to has been predetermined by your genes, so milk and exercise will not help.

However, if you are only 16, you probably haven't quite finished growing yet, so there is hope.

Relax.....

Are you specifying ages after 19? cus I was only talking about whether you can grow taller between 15-19. Currently I'm 17.

I don't really know Bluesoul I am not a doctor. Why don't you look it up?

I DO know you won't grow taller from exercising and drinking milk, and at 17 you should know that, what do they teach you at school these days?

Well I don't just come here and rely on comments, I also look it up myself with search engines to find out more. I do this is to gather information.

I don't think this has any medical merit, but don't smoke, this apparently stunts your growth.

A healthy diet and regular exercise seem to add a few inches.

Lol

Yeah you will grow a little at least ---- I was 16.5 about 16 and 6 mounts - I was about 5.4 and by the time about 18 I am now one foot taller 6.4 and it kinna sucks LOL.

I mean everyone's body is different and that stuff about exercise is completely not true because I was fat when I was short and suddenly I pulled up from being 16 to 18 and that weight distributed through my body so I am not fat any more. The thing is you can never forse yourself to grow doesn't really work out all that you can do it is try to have healthy foods and have plenty of energy.

Eating healthy is usually about 8 to 10 times a day but in small portions so it can keep body's metabolism up also you can go play sports - dont just do it for the hell of the exersice it getts really boaring instead just have fun and you will get taller --- by the way how tall are you- if you want to become the basketball star it propbably will not happen Not many people get to be basketball stars

Well I'm 17 years old and about 168cm in height. When I was early 16 I was about 5 foot 4, and started to do some running/jogging everyday for two months. Afterwards I grew 2 inches tall. My friend said that I've grown a bit in class and checked my height when measuring myself.

Ohhhh...why can't you be happy with your height.

At least your pants will fit and not drag like mine do. Kind of looks like I have no feet.

, I get you. From my point of view, 5'7 is the least of a height to be considered as tall. Look at ryan cabrera, he's 5'7, and when I first saw him I thought he was like 5'9.

Height matters a lot when it comes to women. There is no sense in denying it.

That's true for many women, but not for me and many others I know. My ex is 5'6" and I never thought twice about his height. He's never had a problem finding love, as far as I can tell.

Relax.....

Good news for you all.
Dennis Rodman grew from 6'2" to 6'8" in University, so does Scottie Pippen, so does Charels Barkley.

Michael Jordan grew from 6'1" to 6'4" in High School, after he got cut.

And Jordan's late father are not that tall either....
