I am sitting at work doing my thing and all the sudden my phone goes off. It is a text from the ex saying : Just wanted to say hi. Hope you are having a good day.

Now I have been real bad about breaking NC since we split on 4/27. Basically put myself out there as her doormat as someone put it.

I shouldn't text ANYTHING back should I? I am still not anywhere close to over her and I still want her back even though I think it will never happen.

You did the right thing randuff. Stay strong brother...it gets easier every day, and you will soon achieve a level of clarity that really lets you see the situation objectively, which is something you simply can't do right now. Keep it up...it gets better, I promise
