sleeping in same bed or not

So my bf and i got into a convo about this...he live in a very loving household and his parents have a wonderful marriage but they choose to sleep in different beds - yet they are extremely caring a loving towards one another - i guess therefor my bf thinks that if his wife or gf didnot sleep in the same bed that he said it wouldnt be the end of the world to him....I tend to diagress for me...i would hate sleeping alone in a marriage or if i was living with me bf - is that something that could be a huge indiffernce in a relationship - i mean ofcourse here is more to US that is way more meaning full and deeper than that - he did say he doesnt see why we wouldnt sleep together but if it became the case of his parent he didnt think it would be a big deal at all - thoughts?
