This is about my relationship with my country and myself, I hope it fits here.

I have recently become dissillusioned with being an American, I want out. I look around and see all these people (myself included) stuck in deep debt, medicated for everything under the sun, and still not happy. We, as Americans, are fat, lazy, and bitch about being fat and lazy. At every turn I find more to dislike about Americans and being an American. This has NOTHING to do with Prez Bush or Iraq, it has to do with our whacked society and the decline of it.

Maybe I am just seeing all the negatives right now, but I swear, if I had the chance to leave and never come back I would. I really want to sell my house, quit my job, and stop being a worthless American.

I'm venting, but any thoughts?
