I was sitting on my couch in my moms living room. My mom who agreed to take me to a park to meet a girl i was so eagerly wanted to meet. My mom finally got done in the bathroom and we headed out to the car and drove to the park.
My mom dropped me off. "Takecare Aaron, love you" my mom said before I got out of the car. I waved her goodbye and made my way into the park. I walked along and I notice the park was quite occupied. Seeing as it was Saturday it never surprised me to see this park so full of life. I been to this park many times with my ex girlfriend so I was very familier with the area. I made my way to the parking lot where I was suppose to meet Jennifer, the girl I talked to on myspace and phone for awhile now. I was always nervous to meet new girls in person, especially since I thought making a good first impression was extremely important in my book.
After scouting the parking lot I found a single car and as I walked near it, I notice there was a girl sitting there. "That has to be her" I thought to myself. I thought it was strange how she was waiting in the car and not outside the car. Would of been much easier for me to spot her there. None the less, I was still able to find her. When I made eye contact from a distant she waved at me. I walked up to her. "Hey" she said. "Hey, you should of waited out there for me" I said with grin. "oh well, you still found me" she said "Alright so whats the plan? you wanna walk around this park" I said to her.
She said she wanted to hang out at the house so she told me to hop in her car and we started off. Even though I already told her, I told her that I was amazed that my ex girlfriend was so close to her. "Yea thats crazy" she said.
On the way to her house we made small talk, than we finally arrived at her house. She opened up the garage door and she made her way in.
Me and her made our way into her house. Suddenly, two dogs started barking " Shhh shut up!" she said with a frustrated tune at the two dogs barking just a few feet away from us " SHUT UP!!" she said " I guess they don't like stranger" I said. We made our way to her couch. We planned to watch a movie together. I sat down next to her and asked her what movie we were going to watch. She said she rented this movie called " The Departed"
She said we had to go in the room and watch the movie because she didn't know how to work the T.V/dvd out in the living room. As I made my way into the room I notice she was quite the Cd collector. She also had alot of pictures up on the wall, alot of them with her and her friends and her and her family. Some of them were pictures of her younger self as well.
She popped in the movie and seeing as we were in her room, her bed had to be the couch. So we both sat down and I began to ask her some questions and get her to talk seeing as she wasn't putting much effort to ask me anything. I asked her about most of her friends in the pictures around her room. She told me that some of them she used to know but doesn't talk with anymore. But she had her eyes glued to the T.V. while she was talking and sometimes when she heard kids/guys outside she would peek out the window to see who it is. I asked her if she knew who they were. "Yea, when I was younger I used to hang out with those guys, but we kinda grew apart so I don't talk to them anymore" she said while her eyes were still glued to the T.V. She told me several times that she wanted to be a nurse when she grows up. "Hey, so what inspired you to want to become a nurse?" I asked. " well when I was younger I wanted to be a teacher" she said. "So you like teaching new things to kids than?" I asked "Yea, but I don't know, I just want to become a nurse now" she said.
There was a bit of silents because I decided to stop asking questions for a little bit and we watched a movie where we had no clue what was going on because we wasn't paying attention to the movie. I made her a laugh a little a few times... Me and her started talking about Romance movies and I asked her what was her favorite. she said It was "The Notebook" and I said " Ah! so is it about some guy that falls in love with his Notebook??" I asked " No! just watch it and see" she said. "Man screw this movie" as I said standing back up. " Lets go get something to eat than come back and watch the notebook"
Me and her decided to go to Taco Bell and than come back to watch "The Notebook" She drove to Taco Bell. I wanted to eat inside but she insist that we get the food from the drive thru than eat it in her room. As we can go the drive thru...
"Hey" I said "I wanted to eat inside dammit!! aah!!" I yelled in a teasy way. "ha no! sorry to late we are already in the drive thru" she said. "Damn you!" she than said "lol sorry" I than asked her if she was tickerlish. She said " No..." She stared at me like with a tease smile. "oh yea!" I said. I than started to ticker her all over the place and she laughed! "Ha, found your weak spot" I said. "Thats it! Im going to find YOURS!" she said in a giggly tune but made no effort to touch or tickle me. I gave her a 20 dollar bill and she gave me the change back after we got what we wanted. We than started talking about Soda! "Man I love Mountain due" I said. "I like every other soda except Mountain due" she remarked. "Girl your crazy!" I said looking at her crazy. " She didn't give much of a responds to this, guess she was busy driving home.
When we got back I said that we should eat at the kitchen, she agreed to it, yet again the dogs were barking and again I kept hearing " Shut up!!" "HEY!!" "QUIET!!!" "You stupid little" So after she was done yelling at the dogs for the 100th time, we made our way into the kitchen. I started to kid around and act like a little kid " gimme gimme gimme!" I said in a little kids voice. "Your acting like a little kid" she said. We ate and talked about other small things. Like how she got her dogs and what kind of computer she has and such. After we were done, we grabbed our drinks and headed into the room again. I decided to move in and Tickle her once again, after that I rubbed my hand on her leg. She grabbed my hand and held it, at this point I thought maybe she really liked me. A little later on she wrapped her arm around mine and lend her head against my shoulder. At one point I actually grabbed her soda and took a sip out of it. "Hey don't do that! Aaron

We continued to watch the movie and she kept telling that I was going to cry. I kept telling her that was never going to happen. " well, I guess because your a guy but this movie makes me cry sometimes "she said Still barely any eye contact and when we did make eye contact she seemed really shy about it. Everytime she laughed, I laughed. Maybe I shouldn't have that done that. When I took her hand and kissed it, she didn't react much to it, after my 3rd attempt at tickling her she seemed to be pushing me away to do it further. "Hey I thought u were going to try and find my weak spot as well! come tickle me" I said. But didn't get any reaction. When her forehead was on my shoulder I kissed it but still didn't get much of a reaction.
Earlier I tried to touched her leg with my leg, she said that wouldn't work because I had my shoes on, guess she wanted to touch feet or something.......eww!
Second attempt was much later on and I tried to touch her with my leg but she still didn't say anything. "touch me" I said as I pointed at my leg but she didn't say anything that.
I told her I had to go after the movie is over, she just nodded her head, nothing said.
So after awhile the movie ended and of course as I predicted I didn't cry. After it was over however she started to change the channels, looking for something to watch, weird thing was I was still here so why was she acting like I didn't exist? I asked what she was doing. Than I said I had to go now.
I told her it would be cool if we can take a picture together. She didn't seem to have no problem with it and we eventually got a good picture of "us"
I asked her if she had a good time. She said it was ok. I did said "huh" and she than she said " IM just kidding "
She said "ok, need me to drive you home"
I told her I was going to see if I can get my mom to take me home real quick. I called up my mom. She said she needed a half hour to pick me up.
Jenn kept saying she wanted to take me home so I finally give in and said "Fine you can take me"
While we were driving home I mentioned the party that she was having tomorrow night and asked her how many of her friends were coming. She said alot of her friends. "Looks like it might be fun" I said. " Yeah" she replied. Of course I was hoping to be invited to it but she never asked if I wanted to attend.
After that i asked her if she wanted to do coffee sometime, all she said was " maybe"
On the way back home we talked about our favorite bands and such. She seemed to be a real big fan of akon and I even started to sing one of the authers song

She kinda laughed and i laughed too.
So when we got to my house I told her that I had a good time. "yea, thanks for Taco Bell" which was all she said. I than kissed her on the cheek. She made a little laugh and I got out of the car and started walking towards my house. We waved and said goodbye and that was it...she drove off..
and at that point, I never realized I was never going to see her again.
