Go to a psychologist first. They generally give talk therapy, psychotherapy, and stuff. Psychologists GENERALLY cannot prescribe medication, though, so they refer you to a psychiatrist for the medication. The Psychiatrist GENERALLY does not do talk therapy. There is generally a degree of coorespondence between the two.
