I'm never good at these things...

I've been seeing this guy for the past month and it seems to be very promising, but the thing is- I've been down this road before: dating a guy for a few weeks, thinking it's going somewhere, and then out of nowhere BAM! He's outta there. With this guy- I've met his sister and niece and a few friends, he's met my mom and my son. We see eachother at least 2-3 times a week, talk everyday- he calls and I call. So on the surface, it seems to be headed in the right direction.... but how long do guys tend to wait before making things official?

When I'm going out for the night with friends, he tells me not to do anything he wouldn't do and if he's stepping out with the boys, he says that he'll "be good." So maybe I just need to be patient, right? How long is too long before someone decides to make things exclusive? We haven't had sex yet and he's always very respectful so the other part- at this point, does it even matter if I continue to hold out on the punani or not? I'm about to blow up! lol.

give it a little while longer. its been my experience, that when u bring up the subject of starting a relationship, guys tend to either tell u what u want to hear and just agree, even if thats not what they want. i have made that mistake before, and i ended up getting dumped. give him a little while longer, sounds like he's into u. if the idea of becoming exlusive doesnt come up in the next 2-3 weeks lightly bring up the issue.
