NC philosophy

Okay, here's my question about a hypothetical situation involving NC. What if...you did the breaking up, but it was in a situation that you had no other choice. In other words, what if you did the breaking up, but the emotional situation was that the dumper was the hurt one, and the dumpee probably wanted to be dumped to get out of the relationship? Now, the whole NC thing usually applies to the dumpee not contacting the dumper either to help them move on, or to make the dumper possibly want to come back to you. What do you do in this situation as the hurt dumper? Keep up NC?..It's been 1 month w/no contact.

Stay with NC. If the dumpee really wants to be with you nothing will stop them from making contact. Sounds like they forced your hand to get out of the relationship with little to no guilt.

What's the point of breaking NC now?
