hi. i've never done the LD rel. there's someone i've been dating breifly that is 500 mls away. it requires air travel. we're both very busy. he asks (begs) me to come & see him. i e-mail him travel options/dates & then he doesn't respond for days and usually not until the last minute. how long should i give him to respond to an e-mail re travel? thanks

Travel isn't something that happens at the last minute. It requires planning, or you lose the price deal for the flight, or you lose your seat. He should understand that.

I'd give him one more chance: email with potential flight details and tell him you need an answer by such-and-such time, or you won't be able to book the flight.

If he doesn't respond in time, he really isn't into the idea of a visit no matter what he says.
