No big deal really, we have known each other for over ten years and had plenty of time to see if we could have more of a romantic relationship. Only problem while we were friends was time. We didn't have much of it together as she had a young daughter and a bit of a possessive boyfriend who also had his own daughter. So during the time she was with him I barely saw her. I would have girlfriends during that time for a year here, or longer. So sadly, our friendship went to just talking on the phone every six months.

We are both single now and her daughter is a teenager and one would presume more or less ready to live away from home. Might be a good time for us now. She is going to visit at some point since I live in the state with the better outdoor recreation. Soooo looking forward to it. Just saw some recent pictures of her and it kind of made me giddy. And I went to a show with her when I was back in the old town. Very nice time catching up and just enjoying her company.
