I think your boyfriend needs to gain your fathers trust. You both need to show him and your mom that this guy IS a good person, even if he is 10 years older than you.

Include him in family gatherings, get him to spend some time at your house, doing things for your folks...Hopefully once they get to know him better they'll see that he is a good guy and ease up on you.
