Can Christian guy can date a none Christian girl?

I just want to know if a Christian guy can date a none Christian girl?
If not why does he flirt with me knowing he can’t go further? I know he’s not a flirt and he doesn’t do it for fun…! You see I like him very much too I wanted to make a move but I have heard his church is very strict about things like this!

I have heard that they have to prey for about six months before they decide if they want to go further or something... I don’t want to ask him out and then find out there is no chance we could be together in the first place! We work together and it might be awkward.

thanks

Yes, they can, but if he is strict about whom he dates, then he will not want to marry a non-Christian. And it brings up a whole host of issues for the longterm that need to be dealt with. My experience says that let him make the move, but be ready for a heartbreak if you move forward.

"Prey?" A Freudian slip?
