Yes. I haven't used my proper knife-and-fork table manners this much in years.

I do think it's sweet, though, because he's obviously trying to make a good impression. Even when we cooked dinner at my place, he brought over top-of-the-line ingredients, everything organic, excellent Italian parmesan, wine, fancy chocolates and fruit for dessert. A girl could get used to this.

Maybe your guy just has good taste. If I'm grilling a steak, I'll spring for a good one rather than one of those cardboard-thin "ribeyes" from Wal-Mart. Good food is not something I prefer to compromise on.
