Why does it burn

why does it still burn for. I have posted on here a couple of times but damn it still hurts right in my heart like no tomorrow. We were together for 6 years and engaged. Started dating the day i turned 17 at my birthday party were we first met. You know the teenage love hits hard well when we broke up when i was 23 wow is all i could think about for months. What happened, what went wrong, why did this happen to me, is my life worth living anymore with out the person i loved more then anything. After 3 months of our breakup she took me back cause she said she missed me and thought i have changed for the better. She was talking about handling my stress from work cause i didnt handle it well. After 3 months of being back together she thought i was cheating on her cause i said another girl was hot. Well yes i know very dumb comment but did not think it was going to end up like this. We have had NC pretty much for 4 months.

Now the other night my brother had his 2nd child and when i was in the room visting them she called him cause they are still friends. I heard her voice for the for the first time in months and it hit me like a ton of bricks. I left the hospital and was alll tour up. She sounded so happy and chearful and i thought i was doing better also. That night the dreams came back of her and they dont go away. Is this weird or wrong. Why does it still burn and hurt. Maybe im just having a weak moment but Its almsot unbearable and i cant handle it anymore. thoughts i would love to hear.

Well, not that I know much but, my relationship ended after 4 years 6 weeks ago and you sound like you are in the place I am in. I think the same stuff as you but I think you may be in a better position than me. Number one, yoou are 5 years younger, number 2, you have a family around you. I am living abroad, trying to start a new job and my ex is in the same city with her new man and my parents are now getting divorced. Number 3, you have more friends around you than I. I have had a difficult time here and friends are hard to come by as they come and go.
Maybe you should invite her round for a film or just go out somewhere. Show her what she is missing, little by little. Or maybe you feel the need to just meet and talk to her and tell her EVERYTHING. I chose the latter option as it worked once before and I was too scared the power game of being too casual would only take her further away. You are in the best position to judge the situation. You know her too well. Use that knowledge and either GO FOR IT ort be cool and hope for the best!

thanks for the reply. Well alot of problems i didnt post cause i didnt feal like rambling. I moved away cause i didnt want to run into her if she ever found someone new. She also will not talk to me any more. ONe of her friends got on IAM and told me about a month ago she has completley moved on and I need to do the same and taht sucked. How does someone move on so easly. I think its the question everyone who has been dumped would like to know. WEll when we broke up my friends took sides and they didnt take mine. I wasnt around alot during the end of are relationship cause i worked out of town and would be gone for weeks and she hung out with all my friends so guess they became closer or something. Now i dont have really any friends anymore and she wont talk to me. Im getting over it better but just when the dreams and stuff come back i was up all tour up. Just sucks real bad and wish i didnt have fealings, would make this alot easier.
