I still need a little advice on my situation. Its been 2 months since our breakup, he has not called me, however he has been emailing me a few times a week. He's showing me he still cares because he asks me if i need anything he will send it ( we live long distance ) and hes been helping me in a few financial spots (school etc.) which is really noble of him, he treated me this way when we were together and took great care of me. The thing that I dont understand, is how come he doesnt want to speak to me over the phone and only email? Is 2 months still too soon after a breakup to talk to one another and be friends? I reply his emails because I want him to know I still love him and am thinking about him because I know if i dont reply he (is very sensitive) may feel that I hate him or something and then he will be hurt, which is why we sort of break the no contact rule in that way.
What should I do? Just wait it out in time?

Perhaps it is because he still does care about you, but is afraid if he hears your voice it will stirr up feelings again.

Why did you two break up?

Maybe ask him.....in an email
