For me, for a long-distance relationship to last longer, both parties must think that keeping your relationship strong and last every waking day is not a responsibility but a commitment. A relationship is not always how the both of you started it, but how will you deprive it of ending. Quitting is not an option for a tired emotion, but resting is. A relationship is both just like and not, listening to a radio tape. You can press the start button to start and stop to end it, basically, and push the pause button if you're trying to think about the piece you've already heard or had something to do urgently but still, when you press it back it would still continue on its destined path. But a relationship is also not like a tape, that after you press the stop button and hit the start button, you could still hear the same way. Because sometimes how you end it, may be the reason that you can't start it again, even if you want but you just can't.
