skyblue707
I went on a first date with a guy from OLD, we were at a club and he took a selfie of us. I took his phone and deleted, and said I didn't like getting my picture taken. Then he said, "oh you are such a pretty girl, don't know why you don't want your picture taken." I don't want him to post it up on facebook. Besides, I don't want to see the guy again.
mammasita
Hell no....I think that's real weird for a first date. Very attention whore-ish. I don't blame you for deleting it.
40 Fonzarelli
It depends how the date is going. If we are having a great time, I like to capture the moment. Makes for a great memory, especially if things end up working out.

Lernaean_Hydra
It happens. I've generally found it awkward but have been asked several times and like others have said, it depends on how the night's going.
Omei
I dated a guy for a week and he kept taking pictures of me without even asking without even my knowledge at first till he showed me like picture after picture the one I remember most is when its just of the back of me watching tv and its like the hell??? I asked him to stop doing it and he stopped doing it when I wasn't looking and started doing it to my face when I would look up or in his direction he would really wait till I glaced and hed snap it. I grew so annoyed and... I told him if he didnt delete I would wrestle the phone from his finger tips and smash it. I told him I wouldnt go on anymore dates super creep status
Andy_K
Generally no. But it would be kinda cool to have a first date memory to look back on if things work out, so I could possibly see it happening if we were getting on super well, had already kissed, etc. Still wouldn't facebook it for a few weeks though. wwejonathan
It really depend on if you enjoy the moment and how much you like a guy. If brad pitt went on a date with you, you will take a selfie with him. There is nothing right or wrong about it but it all depend on in-the-moment how you feel. And if you don't feel right, tell him politely that you don't feel comfortable, most man will respect that. Hope that help
Toodaloo
Erm no. First date = stranger... Don't blame you for deleting them... I don't tend to take selfies anyway let alone with strangers. I only ever really take them so I can send them to my best mate and she can "see" me in between skype calls and visits. They are rarely flattering and usually involve me pulling a face or doing something daft. It helps her to not miss me so much as she feels involved from across the water. You want a momento keep the tickets or go back again.
veggirl
No. Sounds like something the around 24 and under crowd would do.

What a beta-male...
