uniqueone
Ok, there's this guy that responded to my personal ad about two weeks ago and I didn't know if I liked his profile because he mentioned intimacy. It wasn't bad --- but I'm really leary of ANY mention of it in a profile. I guess that's kind of stupid really because they're pretty ALL thinking about it. It's just that the ones who MENTION it tend to be a bit more liberal...a bit more bold..... And I guess I'm not thinking they're the type to take things slow and I'm also wondering if they're the type who can be with just one person. So I wrote him and responded to some things he said but I also mentioned how I wasn't sure we were on the same wavelength and I mentioned why. I didn't hear from him until this week. He said that even if I didn't want to get together socially, he wondered if I'd be interested in modeling for him and he gave me his website. He said he thought I had a great figure and a great look. So I looked at his website and he tons of photography--nature, architecture, animals, ...just about everything. Then were women....some were fully clothed. Some were in lingerie and some were naked (but artfully done). Most of the women weren't model like. My first guess was....this is how he gets his dates.....and I pretty much responded to him as such.....I'm not exactly subtle in my old age...... I said "I bet you say this to ALL the women, huh?" I asked him why he need models when he seems to have plenty. That's when he said he liked my look. So....I'm curious...would anyone of you do this? Would you do it if you would be clothed? Would you do it if you got paid? I might if it was for pay and it was decent pay. I would do it fully clothed only. And I would not be falling for any type of flattery. Edited to add.....just got a message back from him that it would be for fun only...that means no money.....that means forget it. I'll will be telling him "sorry" after I finish typing this message. I suppose some women feel flattered to have a photographer photograph them and I guess give them free prints of the photos and have the photos posted on his website (maybe get their 15 mins of fame?) No thanks....don't want photos of myself in stupid poses.......don't need flattery from a photog......and don't need/want my pictures posted on a web site. Now if there was cash involved it might be different......
Art_Critic
He is most likely just taking your photo so he can sell it as a stock photo over and over again.. making money off of you for years to come.. No.. I wouldn't do it unless he paid for the exclusive any use buyout of the photos. an any use buyout is very expensive.. it would include the web which has the potential of making his sales of the photos much higher. A Stock Photo house can sell one photo thousands and thousands of times all for different uses..

I'll bet anything he is lying.. Fun.. who does that? google stock photo house that is what he is doing.. he would get you to sign a waver.. and then sell it over and over... KenzieAbsolutely
I'd never pose for a stranger, paid or not. seriously. how much would you be willing to do it for, unique? (just curious, i'm not trying to buy you, i swear!)

Timberlane
I would only pose with a friend who was an amateur photographer. I've gone out with my camera with another friend and taken pictures of each other doing various things, but that was because we both enjoyed setting up the shots, and so forth. This is cool. The very interesting woman I went on a date with last night has been taking self portraits lately, some tastefully nude. I thought that was a nice way to explore one's own sexuality. Since it's digital these days, no worries about the photo house seeing the pics, or for that matter no expensive Polaroids. In college a lot of the photo students would pose for each other, some nude.
Author uniqueone
seriously. how much would you be willing to do it for, unique? (just curious, i'm not trying to buy you, i swear!) LMAO! I SAID fully clothed!

Timberlane
While most professional photographers can set up lighting and make all of the technical details fit, personally I find their work too antiseptic and polished. But you might get a good shoot out of it. You are quite lovely, uniqueone.
Art_Critic
This is quoted from your link of his website Trade for print / CD agreements are provided on a select basis based on an model potential and the need of TFP/CD sessions last 1 - 4 hours for each You will be asked to sign the usage rights over to them and your pay is the cd full of images.. They will then sell each of those photos to ad agencies for stock at about 500.00 per shot.. over and over again for years and years to come We use stock photo houses every day at work and so do our clients ( ad agencies ).. Don't do it...unless you are trying to build a portfolio/model card

Only reason I'd do it is as a business and I'm not saying that I have it in me to do this as a business but my point is that if he wanted to pay for pictures then MAYBE I would. But otherwise....fuggetaboutit! I certainly wouldn't do it just to have pictures taken. I've never even done Glamour Shots and never wanted to either!
sweetbutcheeky
I think the one where the woman is pinching her nipples is very artistic and professional!
Author uniqueone
I think the one where the woman is pinching her nipples is very artistic and professional! Nice sarcasm...... What I meant is that none of the nudes seemed pornagraphic. If you compare it to the pictures on porn sites, the woman pinching her nipples doesn't seem to me to be on the same level of crudeness. Art_Critic
An interesting note: I googled this guys name and only came up with the weblinks you posted earlier.. The guy claims he has 12 years experience but his webpage is only 26 days old. He has more than 26 days of photos on his website. Something not right about that.. You would think 12 years in the business would bring up more info than just his 26 day old webpage I do believe he is an agent for the 360something name company he is shooting for.. but he isn't shooting for himself.. It smells... I did figure out that he owns the 36osomething company.. but if you hit the .com of it it says that the company is closed He also even uses his yahoo emaill addy while he has 3 other email.com's he is using.. not right about that either.. 2sunny
also remember that photoshop can take your head and place it on another person's nude body... then he places THAT on his website. meanwhile - you have signed your rights away and have no control... i would NEVER consider this in today's world of technology! Art_Critic
I guess it is possible that he is legit..I have seen other webpages that mention him.. If it is then he is a poor marketer. I mean he was scrubbing the online personals for models Who does that ?
