If they are like "whatever" friend, then about $15 (like a pair of movie tickets). For good friends I spend $50 or more (if I know it's what they want or like). I don't like buying people expensive gifts because they'll feel they owe you and try to spend as much next time when they can't afford it. Link to post Share on other sites

Try buying time back in your life... I spend time creating an artful gift or write a page of memories to liven their spirits . Sometimes the memories are just some funny moments All these are priceless ....and money doesnt determine the value of the friend/platonic or not Link to post Share on other sites
