cosmogal Posted October 27, 2005 Share Posted October 27, 2005 I went for a second interview for a local Advertising/Marketing agency two days ago. Well, I asked for a certain salary, but they could only offer within a $2000 salary lower than what I wanted. At first, I declined the offer and left off on good terms. However, I reconsidered their offer and decided although it's the right job/field for me, the small $$ difference wont matter. So I called back and explained I thought a lot about her offer and would be happy to accept the position anyway. I also told her that I think it's a great company in a field I wish to pursue and I think I can grow there. So then she asked me when I could start and I said, "Monday". So bottom line, she gave me the position and I start Monday! I'm happy now. However, has anyone here ever declined an offer and reconsidered to take the position?
