Anger is harmful only to the one who harbors it. It's like drinking poison and waiting for your enemy to die. If a person does something that you find to be unpleasant, it is helpful to understand that every living being has the same wish: "To not suffer." With that in mind, it is difficult to take anything personally, as we look around and realize we are all simply grasping at ourselves and our own happiness.

When I get an attack of anger, I always take a deep breath and count to ten, it always works.
