isabellemarss Posted June 28, 2015 Share Posted June 28, 2015 Last week, my 24-year-old first cousin was diagnosed with leukemia. He starts chemotherapy tomorrow. After chemo, he needs a bone marrow transplant. It hasn't been decided yet who's gonna donate, but I've done a little research and decided it can't be too bad if I volunteered. If I'm a good match to donate, then the little bit of pain I'd have to go through cannot bother me at all if it means that my cousin's life will be saved.
